Carol E. Iverson, age 71, of Huron, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Sanford USD Medical Center. A memorial service to celebrate Carol's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Mt. Olivet Church in Huron.

Carol Elene was born on August 14, 1953 in Willow Lake, South Dakota to parents Alvin and Edna (Solberg) Iverson.

Carol had a deep love for the outdoors, where she could often be found tending to her garden, basking in the sun, or lovingly feeding the squirrels, bunnies, and birds that visited. She had a creative spirit, delighting in crafting and baking treats for her neighbors. Carol also enjoyed crocheting and expressing herself through drawing. She always had her camera ready to take pictures and enjoyed the bowling leagues she belonged to.

She worked at Huron restaurants for many years including the Plains until her retirement.

She is survived by her siblings, Arnold Iverson, Larry Iverson, Jim (Amy) Iverson, Wayne (Laura) Iverson, Marie (Monte) Van Vugt, and Patricia (John) Haiar; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her fiancé Dallas Fogelsong.
