Camma Marie Murphy was born to Keith and Lori (Gunderson) Murphy in Huron, SD on June 13th, 1975. She attended Huron High School and graduated in 1993. Camma then attended Huron University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. She furthered her college education and graduated with a Masters Degree of Science in Education and Counseling at Northern State University in Aberdeen.  In more recent years, Camma was pursuing her Doctorate in Social Deviance and Applied Demography at South Dakota State University. During these years she worked as a school counselor in Hamlin, SD and Canton, SD and Keystone Treatment Center in Canton, SD. She also taught undergraduate sociology classes at Huron Community Campus. Camma had a private practice and was currently working as a Mental Health Therapist LPC at Psychological Solutions in Sioux Falls, SD. Camma had three daughters Shelbi, Mckennah and Mazzie.

Camma enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, being outside, reading and traveling to Sarasota, Florida. Counseling was Camma's passion, she loved helping others and made an impact on anyone that stepped into her life. She loved education and could not get enough of it, if she wasn't attending classes she was teaching them. She will be greatly missed, especially by the ones who called her "Nana Camma", she was their genius. Heaven has gained another angel, fly high my beautiful daughter, granddaughter, sister, mother, nana, and friend. Never forget, Camma was always right! Carpe Diem.

Survivors include her three children Shelbi Murphy and special friend Austin Rock of Harrisburg, SD; Mckennah Murphy and special friend Jeff Pomerico of Huron, SD; Mazzie Murphy and special friend Tanner Schnabel of Huron, SD; grandchildren Haizyn Murphy of Huron, SD; Grey Murphy of Huron SD; Axill Rock of Harrisburg, SD; Gemma Murphy of Huron, SD; Alaiyna Rock of Harrisburg, SD; and Krew Schnabel of Huron, SD; her father Keith Murphy of Huron, SD; one brother Beau (Leah) Murphy of Huron, SD; two nephews Hudson Murphy & Nash Murphy of Huron, SD; grandparents Richard and Sonja (Venables) Gunderson of Huron, SD; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Camma was proceeded in death by her mother, Lori Murphy; grandparents, Jim and Loretta (Duresky) Murphy, and granddaughter, Delaynee Emma Schnabel; along with aunts, uncles, and cousins.
