Obituary
Bryan Royce Burma, age 63, of College Station, TX, formerly of Iroquois, SD, died on Sunday February 21, 2010, in Texas.
Services will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at the Memorial Funeral Home in College Station, TX.
A Graveside service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 26, 2010, at the Maplewood Cemetery in Iroquois, SD, followed bu a luncheon at the Bensley-Rounds American Post #280.
Bryan Royce Burma, the son of Bernard and Hazel Elaine (Haedlee) Burma, was born on February 27, 1946, in Huron, SD. Bryan graduated from Iroquois High School. He was also a graduate of Augustana College. Bryan joined the U.S. Army in July of 1968. He served in Korea, and was honorably discharged in July of 1971. Bryan married Janet Van Briesen on December 16, 1967.
Grateful for having shared in Bryans life are his wife, Janet of College Station, TX; his son Cory; his mother, Elaine Burma of Huron, SD; his brother, Lyle (Joyce) Burma od Iroquois, SD; his nice and nephew; and his four grand nieces.
Bryan was preceded in death by his father, Bernard in 1991; and his grandparents.
