William Jirsa, age 58, of Huron, died Friday, November 18, 2011, at his home. His memorial visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Welter Funeral Home. William George Jirsa, son of Leonard and Genevieve (Lutz) Jirsa, was born on October 12, 1953, in Mitchell, SD. He moved with his family to Huron where he graduated from Huron High School in 1971. In 1973 Bill married Lynne Swain in Huron. He worked at the Club Lido in Huron for many years; then did various jobs including Dressed Beef; Huron Wholesale, Midcom; and Bank1st. His grandkids were especially important to him. He was a member of the NRA, and enjoyed watching wrestling and football on television. He is survived by 1 daughter, Tara (Steve) Miller of Dell Rapids; and 4 grandchildren, Anthony, Kiya, Jenna, and Sean. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a stillborn sister.
