Beulah Summers, age 72, of Huron, SD, formerly of Glenn Rock, WY, passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at her sons home at 22 Columbia Ave. SE in Huron. Beulah Summers, the daughter of Samuel and Edith (James) Hornback, was born on July 21, 1935 in Grand Bay, AL. She attended schools in Spencer, NE and Mitchell, SD. Beulah worked as a Certified Public Accountant for H and R Block for many years. She also ran her own accounting business until her illness forced her to retire. Beulah enjoyed traveling, reading, collecting dolls, and playing card games. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Grateful for having shared her life are her 6 sons: David (Mary) Dorris, Huron, Don (Peggy) Dorris, Tulare, SD, Jim (Lois) Dorris, Huron, Greg (Leanne) Summers, Mark Summers, and Todd Summers , all of Casper, WY; 4 daughters: Sandy (Darin) Story, Huron, Carol (James) Steinbrook, Roswell, SD, Jackie (Darin) Young, Casper, WY, and Heather Summers, Casper WY; 28 grandchildren, 54 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; and 2 sisters, Marjorie Placek, Yankton, SD, and Dorothy Dicus, Mitchell, SD. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael Dorris; grandson, Michael Dorris Jr.; a great grandaughter, Autumn Dorris; her sister, Delores Collins; and her brother Gerald Hornback.
