Betty Mae (Aldrich) Presuhn, age 90, of Virgil, passed away peacefully at Avantara Huron on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in Huron, South Dakota. Per her wishes, a private burial will be held.

Betty was born on May 11, 1929 to William and Irene (Hale) Aldrich. She attended school at Sand Creek School and graduated from Virgil High School in 1947. She married Elmer Presuhn on September 22, 1950. They resided on the Presuhn family homestead near Virgil where they raised two sons and two daughters. She moved to the Wellshire in 2019.

Betty was a member of Virgil United Methodist Church and served as the church treasurer for several years.

She is survived by her husband Elmer; two sons, Richard (LaJune) and Kent (Renee); two daughters, Lynette (Jeff) Kukla and Devonna (Marco) Medina; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; sister Dorothy (John) Clouser and sisters-in-law, Barb Aldrich and Betty Presuhn and special friend Mavis Rombough.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six siblings and one great-granddaughter.
