Betty Campbell, age 87, of Huron died, Sunday, January 9, 2022 quietly and peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side. Her funeral service is at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Welter Funeral Home with burial at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday morning.

Betty, the daughter of Roy and Hulda Jensen was born on September 20, 1934 in Menno, South Dakota. She married John Campbell on May 31, 1952 in Pipestone, Minnesota. They lived in Huron where she worked at Osborns Men's Clothing for many, many years. Betty enjoyed gardening and working on her flower beds. Betty also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Grateful for having shared in her life are her daughters, Debbie Thompson of Huron, Dixie Ball of Huron, and Tammy (Randy) Oligmueller of Miller; grandchildren, Hope Gordon of Huron, BJ (Katie) Ball of Huron, Ryan Ball of Huron, John Coughlin of Minneapolis, Betsey (Joe) Hopewell of Kailua, HI; her great-grandchildren, Jenna Moeller of Pierre, and Tate, Avery, and Travis Gordon, all of Hitchcock, Macie ball of Huron, and Stella and Joey Hopewell of Kailua, HI; her sister Eva Sande of Huron, SD and many treasured nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband John; her parents Roy and Hulda; her sisters, Jean and Belva; son-in-law, Michael Ball; her granddaughter Mikki; and her great-granddaughter Olivia.
