Barry L. Koch, age 53, of Huron, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at his residence. His funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Monday, October 9 at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron with burial at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation with the family present will be from 5-7 pm on Sunday, October 8 at the Welter Funeral Home; or visitation one hour prior to the funeral.

Barry Lee Koch was born December 13, 1963 in Huron to Donald L. and Arlene L. (Davis, Wiand) Koch.  Barry was raised in Wolsey, until moving to Huron, when he entered the Center for Independence.  Barry held various jobs through the years, his longest and favorite job was at Fair City Foods for over 14 years.

Barry enjoyed accompanying his dad pheasant and deer hunting.  He also enjoyed NASCAR racing and visiting with people, Barry had a lot of friends.

Barry is survived by his father, Donald (Emy Volz) Rapid City; three sisters, Brenda Koch, Worthing, Charlene Lindsey, Spirit Lake, IA, Jacqueline (Mike) Baiotto, Stauton, VA; sister-in-law, Carolyn Wiand, Brandon, SD; one uncle, Jerry Koch, Colorado Springs, CO; four aunts, Janice Jungemann, Wolsey, Judy Nelson, Huron, Janette Kleinfeld, Boca Raton, FL, Macy Davis, Huron; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Arlene Koch; brother Darold "Dutch" Wiand; one niece in infancy; grandparents; several aunts and uncles and two brothers-in-law, Donald Lindsey and Larry Fanning.
