Anna J. Waldner, age 85, of Pearl Creek Colony, rural Iroquois, died Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at the Huron Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be at 2:30 PM this Friday, June 9, at Pearl Creek Colony with burial in the Colony Cemetery. Anna passed away peacefully at the age of 85 at the Huron Regional Medical Center on Jun 7, 2006. She was born on January 9, 1921, to Paul and Anna (Tschetter) Knels at Manitoba, Canada. On April 24, 1945, she married John Waldner at Manitoba, Canada. John died on March 26, 2003. Anna is survived by 3 sons, Johnny (Becky) of Pearl Creek Colony, Harry (Helen) of Minto, ND, and Henry of Grafton, ND; 2 daughters, Theresa (Paul) of Pearl Creek Colony, Irene (Henry) of Howard, SD; 1 sister, Matilda of Manitoba, Canada; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren. Anna was preceded in death by her loving husband; parents; 1 daughter; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.
