Anna M. Lehman, age 87, of Highmore, and formerly of Huron, who died Thursday, March 2, 2006, at the Highmore Healthcare Center at Highmore, SD. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Monday, March 6th at the Welter Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Rinearson officiating. Burial will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday afternoon and evening or Monday morning until the time of service at the Welter Funeral Home. The family will be present from 7:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home. Anna Lehman was born Anna Mathilda Lundquist on July 9, 1918, to Carl Louis and Ida Elizabeth (Ljung) Lundquist at Hitchcock, SD. She attended school at rural Hitchcock. In the late 1940s Anna moved to Huron where she lived for many years. While in Huron she had a craft shop for several years. She enjoyed making crafts and crocheting. She moved to the Highmore Healthcare Center at Highmore in the 1990s. She is survived by her daughter, LeAnn (Fred) Gause of Anderson, SC; her grandson, Brian (Mariah) Gause of Atlanta, GA; two sisters, Ida Ringheimer and Olga Peterson both of Huron; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Edna Lundquist and Thelma Reimer, and one brother Arvid Lundquist. Casket bearers will be Jack Peck, Bob McClure, Terry McClure, Kyle Meyer, Mike Carroll and Brian Gause.
