Anita Tekrony, age 50, of Huron, SD, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2013, at the Huron Regional Medical Center. Her Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 5, 2013, at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron with burial of her cremated remains at a later date. Memorial visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Anita Anderson, the daughter of George and Mildred (Cunningham) Anderson, was born on June 23, 1963, in White County, TN, and attended school there. Anita worked as a trucker for several trucking companies. Anita married Alvin Tekrony February 2, 1990, in Brookings, SD. Anita attended the First United Methodist Church in Huron. She loved riding her motorcycle and travelling. Anita is survived by her husband, Alvin Tekrony; son, Jessee Kuhns; two daughters, Leslie Bailey of Kentucky and Christy Paulson of Huron, SD; two sisters, Emma (Robert) Francis of Lady Lake, FL, and Shirley (Robert) Pownell of Florida; mother, Mildred Anderson of Florida; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Anita was preceded in death by her father, George Anderson; and sister, Rita Anderson.
