Andrew A. Glanzer, age 95, Hillside Colony, passed away peacefully at home on October 23, 2018. His funeral service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Hillside Colony with burial in Hillside Cemetery.

Andrew was born to Andrew and Esther (Tschetter) Glanzer on May 23, 1923 at Huron Colony in Manitoba, Canada. He was joined in marriage to Rachel Waldner on June 22, 1947 at Huron Colony in South Dakota. They had 62 years together until the Lord took Rachel home in 2010.

Andrew leaves behind a large family to cherish his memory and to carry on his legacy; his children Susanna, Barbara, Lena, Elias, Ruben (Elizabeth) of Hillside Colony, + Timothy (Margaret), + Andrew (Dawn) , Thomas (Marlene) all of Hillside Colony; Rachel (+ Alvin) Wipf of Willowbank Colony, North Dakota and Ruth (Norman) Glanzer of Greenwood Colony, South Dakota.

He is survived by two siblings: David (Susie) and Rebecca of Hillside Colony, 25 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Esther Glanzer, spouse Rachel (Waldner) Glanzer, and sons Timothy and Andrew.
