Albert H. Marx, age 96, of 50 7th St. SE, Huron, died Monday, February 12, 2007 at the Violet Tschetter Memorial Home. His funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Friday, February 16th at the Welter Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Geiman officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday afternoon and evening or Friday morning until the time of service at the Welter Funeral Home. The family will be present from 7:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home. Albert Henry Marx was born on December 29, 1910, to John and Bertha (Hicke) Marx at Bancroft, SD. He attended Ferguson School north of Manchester. On February 9, 1933, Albert married Della Spry. Della died on August 30, 1964. On February 15, 1965, Albert married Eva A. (Blote) Bates at Pipestone, MN. Albert was employed as an interior decorator in Huron for 30 years. After the death of his wife Eva on June 26, 1997, Albert moved to Prairie Crossings. His hobbies were puzzles and making houses out of popsicle sticks. He is survived by a very good friend, Lori (Dan) Liebing of Huron and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his two wives, parents, and 4 brothers, Elmer, Earl, Herbert and Harvey. Casket bearers will be Scott Wicks, Eugene Heitland, Gary Marx, Dan Liebing, Floyd Lodmel and Dan Geiman.
